FMS has currently an opening for a DPO, immediate availability, for a project based in UK Waters on a project of 30 to 40 days.
Ideal candidates can be offered long-term rotations and an increased day rate.
KEY DUTIES
Responsible for the safe navigation, on duty 12 hours a day, while maintaining the crew's safety, preparation and awareness as top priorities.
To ensure all navigation that is planned or developed is carried out on a lawful manner, compliant with both international and national laws.
Responsible for supervising all Dynamic Position operations during the rotation as well as monitoring all related calls and event logging.
Responsible for the vessel and all involved crew, ensuring HSE and company policies are set in place and followed as required by mandatory regulations.
To ensure the project is carried out to the best possible standard and in a timely manner, ensuring all operations are on offer for the Offshore Manager to request and review.
