Job Description:

Burgess Recruitment is looking for a Chief Officer for a 60m Yacht in Spain. The role requires a Chief Mate 3000gt, SSO, and Medical Care certification. The candidate must have at least 2 seasons of experience on similar-sized yachts with a similar programme and proven longevity. Charter experience is essential, and the candidate should possess strong knowledge of ISM, ISPS, navigation, and watchkeeping. The position requires excellent communication skills, being well-organized and motivated, with a strong focus on teamwork and mentoring junior crew. The role also involves daily, weekly, and monthly checks, and being hands-on when required, particularly during charters.

Additional information:

The salary is DOE (depending on experience). The rotation is 8 weeks on/8 weeks off. The start date is TBC, likely around End May/Start June. Sailing area: Spain
