Job Description:
Burgess Recruitment is seeking a Sous/Crew Chef for a 60m Charter Motor Yacht in the Caribbean. The role requires previous restaurant experience, ideally across various culinary disciplines, and at least 1 season as a chef on smaller yachts or as a crew chef on similar-sized or larger yachts. Charter experience is a bonus, though not essential, but must come from a busy programme. Additional skills such as pastry are desirable. The role requires a Schengen visa (if required), STCW, ENG1, and F&H level 2. The ideal candidate should possess good time-management skills, cleanliness, and ability to create a wide range of healthy menu options, including gluten-free and vegan choices.Additional information:
The salary is EUR 5000+, depending on experience. The start date is 17 April, with leave of 49 days per annum. The yacht will be crossing to the Med soon after joining. Sailing area: Caribbean
